Classes and Descriptions


Hot Yoga - This flowing form of yoga has students moving consistently from pose to pose - utilizing the principles of alignment, the practice of personal awareness and the breath. The class is practiced in a heated room for increased flexibility and to help rid the body of toxins. Prior knowledge of basic yoga postures is suggested, but not required.

Intro to Yoga - This class is for beginning students who have never taken yoga, or students who would like a deeper understanding of the poses. You will learn basic alignment, foundation poses of yoga, and breathing with the poses. This is a fun and relaxed class.

Kundalini Yoga - The yoga of awareness. This yoga class is designed to help us expand our awareness and tap into our infinite potential of who we are so we can really understand ourselves. This is yoga for EVERY body type. No experience needed, perfect for all levels. Classes combine movement, sound, and relaxation.

Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga - Class is designed with you and your baby in mind. This class incorporates gentle stretching through safe yoga poses and muscle preparation for delivery. Take time to adjust to your changing body and mentally prepare for child birth.

Pilates Mat : Beginning Fundamentals - Wanting to try Pilates, yet unsure. Come get connected and learn how to engage your core (powerhouse) and begin strengthening your deep muscles.

Pilates Mat : Intermediate/Advanced - Classes focus on strengthening your core with dynamic mat exercises. Class is tailored for intermediate and advanced students only.

Pilates Mat : Open - This is a basics Pilates mat class with movement and flow involved. You will work eventually into a cardio workout.

PiYo - Power Yoga and Pilates core work fused in an athletic, dynamic mind/body workout. Challenging and fun for all fitness levels.

Power Yoga - A high energy, intermediate class. You will be led through a series of Vinyasa sequences designed to strengthen, tone, and detoxify your body.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga - A dynamic class that integrates movement with breath to build strength, stamina, balance, and focus. Classes will incorporate classical and creatively adapted sun salutations, standing and seated postures as well as balance poses. While previous yoga experience is helpful, it is not required. Modifications will be given to fit individual needs.

Vinyasa Yoga Intensive - Meditation in motion. This dynamic 90-minute class integrates heat-building movement with breath to build strength, stamina, balance, and focus. Classes incorporate traditional and creatively adapted sun salutations, standing and seated postures, mild inversions, and an extended period of deep relaxation. The instructor will present different options for the less experienced student and for the advanced yogi. Modifications will be given to fit individual needs.

Vin/Yin Yoga - A gentle, rhythmic Vinyasa flow complemented by Yin yoga. Yin yoga features seated and reclining poses, which when held passively for 1-3 minutes, target the connective tissue of the hips pelvis, and lower spine. Classes will begin with a warming Vinyasa sequence of sun salutes and standing poses, and will end with a gentle yin sequence follwed by restorative relaxation. Appropriate for all levels.

Family Yoga - Using imaginative play, you and your child will practice breathing exercises, basic Yoga and animal poses and sun salutations, followed by relaxation time to create an enriching parent/child activity that both you and your child will enjoy. Our goal is to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment in which parents and their children can connect and build lasting bonds. Ages 1 1/2 - 8. Up to three children allowed per adult. Pre-registration is recommended. Class may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Yoga for Kids! - Help your child develop flexibility, focus, and coordination for a happy, healthy, balanced life.
